LIKE ME is the first film in which Boris Alexander worked with dialogue. It follows Alba, a young woman inhabiting a parallel and distorted reality inside a large family house, and Chus, who compels other women to live there in order to control her and remain close to her. The film confines three women within a single domestic system and observes what that containment produces.

The work belongs to a continuous line of inquiry into the image and the conditions under which it is believed. Production design was written into the script rather than built around it. The clear acrylic case constructed for the film now exists as an autonomous work, VITRINE (just looking). Three film stills are held together as LIKE ME triptych, 2022.
